One of the most discussed amendments from Finance Act, 2020 is regarding Tax Collection at Source (TCS) on sale of goods. The scope of TCS has been enhanced significantly with this amendment. While it has been attempted by the CBDT to clarify on some of the issues faced while applying the new provisions, there are still lot of practical challenges being faced while undertaking compliances. This session will focus upon such practical challenges faced by taxpayers in undertaking the newly introduced compliances and how the same are being addressed, in absence of adequate clarity.
